Dean Duncan has been providing high quality financial and accounting advice to clients large and small since 1972. His experience includes partnership in a national CPA firm, Chief Financial Officer of a hotel management company and, since 1991, owner of DUNCAN CPA ASSOCIATES, PC.
Dean has experience in mergers, acquisitions and dispositions; all phases of budgeting; cash management, and all aspects of tax and financial reporting and analysis. He established an internal audit department for a large hotel management company and now provides audit services to his clients. Duncan CPA Associates receives a "quality control peer review" every three years administered by the North Carolina Association of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
In addition to being a CPA, Dean is a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a licensed real estate broker. He is past president of the Charlotte Kiwanis Club, a member of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of the Greater Charlotte Chamber of Commerce Leadership School. He is a member of the AICPA and the NC Association of CPAs.

Kathleen Goodman, CPA

Kathleen provides both strategic financial advice and tax services to Duncan CPA Associates’ clients.
She combines her extensive knowledge of state and federal tax codes with a keen understanding of financial reports to help clients plan for the future while meeting current demands and obligations. This combination of education, experience and interest is ideal for her role of “CFO On Call” for the small and medium-size closely held companies that make up the bulk of Duncan CPA Associates client base.
Kathleen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. Her volunteer work benefits terminally ill and chronically disabled children.
